We will Help you With

Our Physiotherapist, Tina Koutsoullis, is a highly qualified practitioner able to treat a range of conditions in all areas of the body. Treatments are one-to-one and last up to 30 minutes in a private treatment room. Tina is a member of the Australian Physiotherapy Association and continues to attend ongoing educational seminars to keep up to date. She is passionate about her work and really LISTENS in order to work out your issues, be they acute or chronic. Treatment sessions also include individualised exercise programs for all ages.

How Does Physio Telehealth Work?

  • Assess, diagnose and treat online
  • You will be asked questions about your condition or injury
  • Advice will be given on how to manage your symptoms
  • You will be given a personalised exercise program using Physitrack, which will be developed to help you during your recovery period
  • You will also gain access to short videos on how to do the prescribed exercise.

1. Where are you located?

In the medical centre Riverwood Medical located between KFC and Pizza Hut

221-223 Belmore Road in Riverwood NSW 2210.

2. Do I need a GP referral to have Physio ?

Not if you are a private patient. If you have an EPC Plan (Enhanced Patient Care Plan) or you’re a Veteran’s Affair patient-you will need a referral from your General Practitioner. Worker’s Compensation and Third Party also need a GP referral for physiotherapy

3. Is there parking available?

Yes, 1 hour parking in front or a 3 hour carpark behind the medical centre. You can also find street parking.

4. Do you Bulk Bill if I have an EPC plan from a GP?

In most cases, patients will pay no more than $65 but Medicare gives you back $54.60 in your bank account using Tyro

5. Is Physiotherapy appropriate for my injury or condition?

When calling reception on 02 95841900 or emailing me, you can always have chat with me for a few minutes to determine if physiotherapy is for you.

6. What will I expect during my physiotherapy session?

An assessment will help determine why you have your acute or chronic condition(s). Wearing comfortable clothes will help. A discussion on what the diagnosis may be will follow with treatment using a wide range of modalities. Treatments-using soft tissue releases, manual therapy, dry needling, TENS machine or even ultrasound. Patients always get “home work”-a rehabilitation program of appropriate exercises to help reduce pain and restore movement.

7. How long is the treatment?

For private initial consultations 45 minutes + and subsequent 30 minute one-on-one consultations in a private room.

8. What is the cost for private patients?

For initial consultation $85-$110 depending on length of consultation

Subsequent is $75

For Pensioners- Initial Consultation is $75 and subsequent is $65

Consultations also include taping and theraband where appropriate in the cost.
